Why I decided to start writing publicly about aerospace, automation, AI, and building Boeasy.

I've been wanting to write publicly for years. This post is me finally starting.
Why now
I spend my days at the intersection of three worlds that rarely get to talk to each other:
- Aerospace, from my MSc and the years I spent as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at Iberia and Vueling.
- Finance operations, where I now drive innovation and automation at Amadeus.
- Product building, as the founder of Boeasy.
Each of these domains has its own jargon, its own culture, and its own blind spots. The most interesting ideas I've had in the last few years have come from stealing from one and applying it to another.
What I'll write about
Some of the topics I want to explore:
- Where AI and automation are actually paying off inside large companies — and where they're overhyped.
- What aviation engineering culture can teach product teams about reliability.
- Founder notes from building Boeasy while working a full-time job.
- Deep dives into tools and workflows I actually use.
